Red Cedar Fly Fishers at the West Michigan Fly Show

The Red Cedar Fly Fishers were well represented at the Great Lakes Council’s West Michigan Fly Show on the weekend of January 13 and 14.  Many Red Cedars helped set up the show, staff various Council booths, sell fund raising raffle tickets as well as run the club booth.  Thanks to all the Red Cedar Fly Fishers who attended and helped out.

Board Meets

The Red Cedar Fly Fishers would like to welcome Steve A. to the board of directors.  Steve was elected to the position of secretary and we are sure he will bring energy and a new perspective to our meetings.  The board met over the weekend of August 11 – 13 to begin planning for our upcoming year.  The meeting was the centerpiece of a weekend of fishing and federating in the Grayling/Au Sable River area.  Members please check your September newsletter (due out the first week of September) for information from that meeting.
